CAG Holding takes over INDAT GmbH and secures expertise and jobs

CAG Holding takes over the INDAT GmbH. INDAT will remain an independent company. The takeover secures skilled labour, strengthens synergies within the Group and deepens existing partnerships.

CAG Holding is expanding its portfolio and taking over the business of INDAT GmbH, based in Rohrbach an der Gölsen. INDAT's business activities will continue in the form of an independent company within the CAG Group under the management of the previous managing director Gerhard Eberl. Together with INDAT's dedicated team, the ongoing business and co-operation with existing customers will be continued and expanded.

Strategic growth for CAG Holding

With the take over of INDAT, CAG Holding not only gains specialists with extensive know-how, but also valuable expertise in special machine construction, robotics, model and mould construction as well as CNC production, tool, jig and gauge construction. These specialised areas are also in high demand within the entire group of companies and open up new synergies.

Local companies in the group - including PREFA and Neuman Aluminium - were already customers of INDAT in the past. The integration into the group of companies enables these partnerships to be further intensified and innovative solutions to be driven forward together.

From start-up to sought-after expert

Since its foundation in 2003, INDAT has developed from a small start-up into an established expert for customised solutions. The company stands for handshake quality, reliability and customer proximity. Whether small regional companies or global industrial groups - INDAT realises every project with care and innovation.

CAG Holding secures the location and focusses on innovation

The takeover by CAG Holding ensures that INDAT's extensive expertise will be retained and further developed. CAG is focussing on the innovative strength and quality ‘Made in Austria’. With this strategic expansion, the holding company is strengthening its market position and tapping into new technological potential within the Group - with a clear focus on sustainable and future-orientated development.

‘With the acquisition of INDAT, we are sending a clear signal in favour of strengthening Austria as a business location. We are not only securing qualified jobs, but also valuable technical expertise that is of great importance to our entire group of companies. INDAT has established itself over the years as a reliable partner with a high level of innovative strength - we want to preserve and further develop this expertise,’ says Dr Cornelius Grupp, Managing Director of CAG Holding.
